Texas Proclamation to Honor King Kyle Lee for Statewide Anti-Bullying Impact to be presented May 29, 2025, in Austin by State Representative Josey Garcia

Austin, TX — On May 29, 2025, San Antonio artist and activist King Kyle Lee will be formally honored at the Texas State Capitol by State Representative Josey Garcia, receiving a proclamation recognizing his powerful contributions to youth across Texas through his nonprofit, Anti-Bully Gang (ABG).
Best known for his voice in music and his heart for his community, King Kyle Lee has turned personal purpose into public mission. Through Anti-Bully Gang, he and his team have now supported over 200 children facing bullying—meeting students where they are with care, advocacy, and courage. Whether it’s showing up at schools, offering mentorship, or leading citywide awareness events, King has made it clear: no child should face bullying alone.
But Kyle’s leadership didn’t come from nowhere. His inspiration? His mother, Brenda Kinion—a proud educator with more than 40 years of service. She has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and college professor, dedicating her life to helping young people succeed. Her example of discipline, compassion, and impact laid the foundation for the work Kyle is now doing throughout Texas.
“Everything I do for the youth, I do with my mother’s lessons in mind,” Kyle shares. “She showed me what real leadership looks like.”
Anti-Bully Gang has become more than a movement—it’s a lifeline. With services offered across the state of Texas, the organization works with children, families, and school districts to address bullying head-on, while also equipping parents and educators with the tools to create safer, more supportive environments. In addition to direct intervention, ABG offers community programs that promote respect, unity, and healing—especially in underserved communities where bullying often goes unaddressed.
The proclamation from the Texas House recognizes the statewide impact of Kyle’s mission, honoring not just the lives changed, but the ripple effect of compassion and action that continues to grow. It also acknowledges his efforts to bring visibility to the struggles children face daily—often in silence—and how one person, rooted in purpose, can make a difference.
As King Kyle Lee prepares to stand on the House floor and receive this honor, he does so representing not just his city, but every child who’s ever felt unseen or unheard.
“I didn’t choose this path—God gave it to me,” he says. “And I plan to keep walking it for every kid who needs someone in their corner.”
This is more than recognition. It’s a call to action—and King Kyle Lee is answering it with heart, hustle, and hope.
